Our operation is located in Piripiri/Piauí/Brazil. We are part of a group with roots in the mining industry, with operations in Minas Gerais and Ceará, serving a customer base that trusts our commitment to quality and delivery volume, and whose mission and vision are aligned with ours.

Laboratory
Analysis and Research Laboratory for Iron Ore
We are pleased to share a crucial part of our operation at Lion Mining. Our commitment to excellence in the supply of quality iron ore drives us to invest in technology and research.
We are proud to present our Analysis Laboratory, a special location within our company dedicated to the meticulous evaluation of material extracted from our mines. Here, specialized teams employ ASTM standards to ensure each batch of ore meets quality standards.
We understand that producing iron ore with correct quality control is a challenging task, which requires a significant amount of energy and resources. At Lion Mining, we spare no effort to ensure that every ton extracted is a product of excellence, capable of exceeding our customers' expectations.
Our dedication to continuous research, whether seeking new methods of quantitative analysis or using a magnetic separation pilot plant, are testaments to our commitment to innovation and the constant search for improvement. We invest considerably in geological research technologies for our deposit and in qualified professionals to ensure that our products always comply with what is agreed in our sales contracts.

Mining
Production process
Our iron ore production uses a dry process, without the formation of tailings dams.
The stock produced is separated according to chemical composition and particle size, which are controlled in our quality laboratory every hour.
Our professionals have market experience and work in line with our commitment to safety.
We produce ore with granulometry on demand according to customer needs and finely controlled chemical composition.
Logistics
Safe and reliable transportation of our ore to its final destination
Lion Mining stands out for its privileged location, being close to three operating ports, Porto de Pecém, Porto de Mucuripe and Porto de Itaqui. The biggest highlight goes to the Port of Luís Correia, which is not yet in operation, but is 170km away from the mine. The Government of Piauí is working to deliver several phases of this port. The first phase of the project will be delivered in December 2023.
We also have a railway (FTL) that can be used in operations where this mode is viable.
